Conquer Your Month

New month, same God! I’ll say it again for the people in the back…NEW MONTH, SAME GOD!

Now, that we’re all on the same page, riddle me this: Did last month kick your YOU-KNOW-WHAT?

Well, sis…SAME! Last month was a challenge. But the good news is God gives us second, third, and a million chances, so take it easy on yourself.

Last month might have been rough or maybe it was full of blessings. Whatever the case may be, be kind to yourself.

Your goals from last month can overlap into this month, it's no big deal sis!

What can you do this month to jumpstart your goals?

Here are some tips:

  1. Pray. Seek God and ask Him to give you a better handle on your schedule. Ask Him to reveal to you His purpose and plans He has set for you. His plans, not yours.

  2. Make a list. Jot down all of the goals you did and did not accomplish last month and see if it aligns with your purpose and God's will for your life. If it doesn't progress you or serve a purpose, maybe reconsider it being on your list.

  3. Create a NEW list. (I know, we just did that on the last tip, but keep reading) Rip up the old list, create a new list that's centered on God's best for you. This is the list that will flourish. This is the list that will give you the most blessings.

  4. Act. Take action! God doesn't wait for you to move, He's always working! You should be the same way with your goals. Your goals don't work unless you do.

  5. Repeat. This is a sure-fire way to see the most achievements of the goals you set. Since you have GOD involved in your plans and are doing things according to His will, He will give you the desires of your heart.

This is your wake-up call to help you jumpstart your goals, sis, you got this! Don't let the setbacks from last month discourage you from putting your best foot forward this month. Pray on and seek God for all of the direction you need.

Scripture for Meditation:

Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
