How are you doing?
I know, you’re “fine” or “good.” But how are you TRULY?
Scripture says - “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” Proverbs 17:22
We need you, sis. Someone in this world is dependent on you. You are the light in someone’s life. It may seem like a lot of pressure sometimes, but you don’t have to bear it all alone. God is available for you to surrender those burdens.
Here are some tips:
Set aside at least 30min. of alone time
Fill out a daily self-assessment
Write down 10 things that you love about yourself
Write down your desired date location and plan a date for yourself
Journal to God about how beautifully and wonderfully made he has created you
Take a mental health day
Treat yourself to a mani-pedi
We take care of everyone and we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves and to check-in on ourselves. So PAUSE. Check-in on yourself.
Ask yourself these questions:
🌱 Did I smile today?
🌱 Did I say something kind to myself today?
🌱 Did I show up for myself today?
Take some time out for yourself today. Get into the Lord’s presence and talk to him about what you need in this season.
Meditate: Psalm 119:105-Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
